Watch a year pass @ ViBERi
Natural Goodness
Blackcurrants require a cold winter, mild summer, free-draining soils, and year-round moisture. The fertile alluvial plains of South Canterbury, along with pure water from the majestic Southern Alps, provide the ideal conditions for our blackcurrants.
ViBERi organic blackcurrants are grown on our certified-organic family orchard just out of Pleasant Point, two hours south of Christchurch. The area is famous for its high quality blackcurrant produce, containing some of the highest levels of anthocyanins (a type of antioxidant) in the world.
Pure Food You Can Trust
ViBERi grows the only significant commercial organic crop of blackcurrants in New Zealand and are proud of it. Going organic was a big step, but, in the words of grower Tony Howey, "It gives our buyers peace of mind and infuses the Blackcurrants with a richer taste." Tony is passionate about sustainably growing food he knows tastes great and keeps people healthy!
Our Product Philosophy
Organic principles with the unique and intense flavour of blackcurrants, and the range of health benefits they offer, have been a constant source of inspiration for ViBERi's innovative line of products. From vegan dark chocolate CACAO to large packs of blackcurrant powder for everyday use, all our products elicit a delighted surprise from new customers!

Love it.
I love having the Organic Blackcurrant Powder in the cupboard especially for a Vitamin C boost in smoothies. So good to know we don't always need berries on hand we can just reach in the cupboard for the powder. And to know it comes from right here in the South Island, Just awesome. Thank you
